Position Overview

We are seeking a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a part-time or full-time role. This position is primarily focused on providing individualized clinical treatment to children in an outpatient setting. Flexible scheduling is available, with the greatest need during after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat children with speech, language, communication, feeding, and related developmental needs within the clinician’s scope of practice

  • Complete initial evaluations and periodic re-evaluations

  • Develop individualized plans of care and functional, measurable treatment goals

  • Provide evidence-based, engaging, and child-centered therapy

  • Educate caregivers and provide practical strategies to support progress at home

  • Collaborate and coordinate care with families, physicians, schools, behavioral providers, and other professionals as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using an EMR with scribe-assisted documentation features

  • Maintain clean, organized, and ready-to-use shared treatment spaces

  • Participate in team meetings, training, and collaborative problem-solving

  • Follow clinic policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations

Qualifications

Required

  • Current Texas license to practice speech-language pathology

  • Pediatric clinical experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage documentation and clinical responsibilities independently

  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and caregivers

  • Dependable, collaborative, organized, and open to feedback

Preferred

  • Experience with pediatric feeding or swallowing

  • Experience with or interest in orofacial myofunctional therapy

  • Experience developing or leading pediatric therapy groups

  • Interest in early language, social skills, or feeding groups
